Charania Doubles

Level 5 : 400/800, 100 ante

We just overheard that Mohsin Charania doubled through PokerStars Team Online Alex "Kanu7" Millar.

Charania ended up all in with ace-king versus Millar's kings. The board gave the former EPT Grand Final winner a straight and that way he's now up to 72,000 chips.

Greg Merson just called James Joyner's all in and the showdown went as following.

Merson: {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Joyner: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

The board ran out {A-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Joyner was knocked out. Merson, who was knocked out earlier today, is back for more and he's off to a good start.

Mercier Wins One Before Dinner

Level 5 : 400/800, 100 ante

Before the dinner break, Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier raised to 1,200 from the hijack seat. He was called by Keith Lehr on the button and Dario Sammartino out of the big blind. From there, the three players were prompted with a {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop and action was checked around to see the {6-Clubs} come out on the turn. Sammartino led for 2,700, Mercier called, and Lehr folded. The river was the {2-Clubs}, and Sammartino checked. Mercier bet 5,000, and Sammartino gave it up.

The European Poker Tour Season 10 Player of the Year race is on, and as you know players will be able to accumulate points in all events throughout Season 10, regardless of the buy-in level.
