Panka Punts Pessagno

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

When we arrived at the table, PokerStars Team Online Member Caio Pessagno was all in and at risk preflop holding {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. His opponent, Dominik Panka, held {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, and we were off to the races.

The {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop gave Pessagno outs to counterfeit Panka, but the turn ({5-Spades}) and the river ({a-Diamonds}) were both bricks.

Panka is up to around 300,000 chips.

Blondeau's Top Pair Takes It

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

From middle position, Rudy Blondeau raised to 8,500. Matt Berkey called on the button, Alexander Kuzmin called from the small blind, and the big blind also came along.

The flop came down {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades}, and action checked to Berkey. He bet 16,000, Kuzmin folded, the big blind called, and Blondeau called.

After the {5-Spades} hit the turn, all three remaining players checked to see the {7-Hearts} land on the river. Again, all three players checked.

The big blind showed the {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, and then Blondeau showed the {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Berkey mucked, and it was Blondeau's hand that won the pot, holding top pair of aces with a ten kicker.

Dammert Doubles

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

A short-stacked Edwin Dammert got his last 52,500 all in before the flop against an opponent. Dammert showed {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and was racing with his opponent's {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}.

The board ran out {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Dammert was able to double up with a club flush. The German is now sitting on about 115,000 in chips.
