Mike McDonald opened to 1,200 before the flop only to have Isaac Haxton three-bet the action to 3,200 from the button. The blinds folded back to McDonald who called to see a flop.
The dealer put out a flop and McDonald check-called a continuation bet of 2,500. The hit the turn and both players checked to see the fall on the river. McDonald checked a third time and Haxton moved out a large stack of chips totaling 11,475. McDonald let his cards go and Haxton took down the pot.

Stammen joked about Zhou making a joke with his response, but Jason Koon said that he thought it was just a nice, polite response. Everyone got a good laugh, and play went on.

The turn was the , and both players checked to see the complete the board on the river. This is where Stammen pounced and bet 3,500. Vamplew folded, and Stammen pushed his cards across the table in the direction of Jason Koon.
"Turn one over for him, Koon," commanded Stammen.
Koon grabbed one card and revealed the .
"Which one did you pick?" asked Stammen just after the dealer swiped up the cards.
On the flop, Keven Stammen bet 9,500, and Jason Koon called to see the come on the turn. Stammen and Koon both checked, and the river was the . Stammen checked, and Koon checked.
"Jacks!" announce Koon emphatically.
Stammen quickly turned up the for top pair, top kicker, and Koon mucked his hand, with the accidentally flipping over.
"Why couldn't you just stick it in?" asked Stammen, referencing the preflop action. "I wanted redemption!"
"Redemption?" asked Koon.
"Yeah, you bubbled me in this event before," respond Stammen. "I think I had ace-queen and you had king-queen. You made a run, though, so I was happy for you."
We found Igor Kurganov and an opponent looking down at a board of . Kurganov checked the river and his opponent fired out a bet of 10,000. Kurganov came over the top with a check-raise to 22,500 and this was enough to get his opponent to fold.
Kurganov took down the pot and now sits on a stack of approximately 62,000.
