Collopy Crushes Hutter

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

Barry Hutter opened for 2,700 in the hijack, and Jim Collopy made it 6,100 to go on the button. Hutter came back with 17,700 after some thought, and Collopy shoved all in, putting Collopy at risk for what looked to be about 58,000 more. Hutter double-checked his cards and called.

Hutter: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Collopy: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Hutter couldn't find a third queen as the board ran out {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}.

Rachadel Doubles Through Bigelow

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

Thiago Rachadel moved all in before the flop for his last 11,400. Jason Bigelow called from two seats over and the rest of the table folded.

Rachadel: {K-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Bigelow: {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

Bigelow picked up a few more outs to make an inside straight with the {2-Spades}{4-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop, but ultimately nothing materialized through the {10-Diamonds} on the turn and the {2-Hearts} on the river. Rachadel scored the double and now has 25,000 to his name.

Martini Takes From Silver

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

We arrived in time to see Max Silver and Julio Martini looking down at a completed board of {2-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. Silver cut out a final bet of 12,000 and Martini was in the tank. Ultimately, Martini tossed out calling chips.

Silver rolled over {K-Spades}{8-Spades} for a pair of kings, but was bested by Martini's {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for two pair of kings and tens. Martini pulled the pot and now has about 110,000 in chips.

Different Card Please?

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

Tony Baggio opened the action for 2,500 and Chris Moneymaker called from the cutoff. Philip Sousa called from the big blind and the three saw a flop of {4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Sousa checked, Baggio bet 6,000, and Moneymaker called. Sousa folded and the dealer put out the {5-Spades}.

Baggio checked and the 2003 World Series of Poker Main Event champion bet 12,000. Baggio thought for a moment, looked back at his cards, and then said something in his native tongue to another player at the table. The other player translated to the dealer saying "he wants a different card." Baggio turned over {9-}{9-} as he folded his hand and Moneymaker took down the pot.

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 100 ante
Ole Schemion
Ole Schemion

We didn't see the action, but the dealer was counting down Bernardo Coelho's stack for a double against Ole Schemion. Coelho had flopped a set with {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} on the {q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{a-Spades}{6-Hearts} board, while Schemion had {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} in front of him for a weaker boat. The German crusher was forced to send 75,100 to his opponent.
