Daniel Dvoress Eliminated in 6th Place ($235,460)

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

Ivan Luca moved in on the button, and Daniel Dvoress called off about 400,000 in the small blind. Steve O'Dwyer also put his chips in from the big.

Luca: {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Dvoress: {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
O'Dwyer: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

O'Dwyer had woken up with a big pair and had a nice lead against the shared overcards. The {3-Hearts}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs} left him fading only queens, and the {2-Hearts} and {4-Diamonds} ran the board out dead. He collected Dvoress' stack and another 1.01 million from Luca.

Bryn Kenney Eliminated in 7th Place ($185,280)

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Bryn Kenney - 7th Place
Bryn Kenney - 7th Place

Bryn Kenney, who won the $100,000 Super High Roller last night for $1,687,800, open-shoved for his last 650,000 or so and received a call from Ivan Luca in the big blind.

Luca: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Kenney: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}

Luca woke up with the goods, but Kenney received a little help when the {5-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop paired his jack. Unfortunately for him, that'd be the only help he'd receive as the {7-Hearts} blanked on the turn followed by the {A-Clubs} on the river.

Luca Takes a Shot at Eliminating a Poker Hall of Famer

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Ivan Luca raised to 100,000 under the gun and action folded to Erik Seidel, who moved all in for 395,000 from the small blind. Luca thought for a minute or so and then made the call.

Seidel: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Luca: {10-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out a clean {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Seidel stayed alive.

Paul Newey Eliminated in 8th Place ($144,760)

Level 17 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Paul Newey
Paul Newey

Ivan Luca opened for 85,000 in the cutoff, and Paul Newey jammed for just a bit more from his left. Everyone else folded and Luca called and revealed two black aces. Newey had {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

"He's got the rockies?" someone asked. "Why not?"

The dealer spread a flop of {7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{a-Hearts}, giving Luca top set. The {6-Hearts} turn kept Newey live with a flush draw, but the {7-Clubs} river filled up Luca.

Nick Petrangelo Eliminated in 9th Place ($110,020)

Level 17 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Nick Petrangelo
Nick Petrangelo

Nick Petrangelo took his time counting down his stack and then shoved all in from under the gun for 610,000. Isaac Haxton shoved over the top after thinking about a minute two spots later, and everyone else folded.

Haxton: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Petrangelo: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}

Petrangelo moved to exit after the {4-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop hit, giving Haxton a set.

"Good game, boys," he said as the {7-Diamonds} arrived on the turn to leave him totally dead.

Scott Seiver Eliminated in 10th Place ($96,500)

Level 17 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Scott Seiver
Scott Seiver

Ivan Luca put everyone behind him at risk with a shove in the cutoff, and Scott Seiver thought briefly before calling off his minuscule stack.

Luca: {a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Seiver: {k-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

Seiver chuckled at seeing he wasn't live, and the board ran out {7-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, not enough help for Seiver.
