Kenney & Seiver Chop Up Clark's Stack

Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Zachary Clark
Zachary Clark

Zachary Clark raised to 130,000 from the button, which was about half his stack. Scott Seiver then three-bet all in for 377,000 from the small blind, and Bryn Kenney four-bet all in over the top. Clark called off for 270,000 total and the cards were all turned up.

Clark: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Kenney: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Seiver: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Kenney and Seiver held the same hand, while Clark was ahead with his small pocket pair. The {4-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop kept Clark in the lead, but then the dealer burned and turned the {A-Hearts} to pair both Kenney and Seiver. The {2-Clubs} river was no help to Clark and he was eliminated from the tournament while the other two players chopped the pot.

Seiver Stays Alive

Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Scott Seiver moved all in for 176,000 from the button and Nick Petrangelo called from the big blind.

Petrangelo: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Seiver: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Seiver had kicker problems, but he had reason to hope when the {10-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop delivered him a flush draw. It came in too when the dealer burned and turned the {5-Diamonds}. The {4-Diamonds} was run out on the river for good measure, and Seiver shipped the double.
