Haxton Busts Boeree, Closes in on a Million

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Dan Shak - Liv Boeree
Dan Shak - Liv Boeree

We missed the preflop action, but we do know that Team PokerStars Pro Liv Boeree got her last 100,000 or so all in against Isaac Haxton. We also know Dan Shak folded pocket sixes.

Boeree: {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Haxton: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

"Right in the window," Shak bemoaned upon seeing the {2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop would have given him a set. Boeree managed to pair her eight, but she needed more help to stay alive. The {4-Clubs} turn didn't do it, and neither did the {7-Diamonds} river.

Boeree wished the table luck while Haxton, who has been on a pre-dinner heater, was pushed the pot.

Petrangelo Doubles Up Luca

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo raised to 13,000 and Ivan Luca three-bet to 46,000 from the button. The action folded back to Petrangelo and he gave it some thought before moving all in for 151,000 effectively. Luca called all in, creating the following showdown.

Petrangelo: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Luca: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Luca doubled up.

Haxton Busts Schemion and Muehloecker

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Ole Schemion moved all in under the gun plus one for 60,000 and Thomas Muehloecker called all in from his direct left for just 45,000. The action folded to Isaac Haxton and he called right away from the big blind.

Haxton: {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
Schemion: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Muehloecker: {A-Hearts}{6-Spades}

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and both Schemion and Muehloecker fell to Haxton, who's among the chip leaders.

Big Slick Does the Trick for "kenny05"

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Kenneth Smaron
Kenneth Smaron

European Poker Tour Prague €10,300 High Roller champ Kenny "kenny05" Smaron just tripled up in a big hand against Scott Margereson and Piotr Franczak.

It began when Margereson raised to 18,000 under the gun, Smaron three-bet all in for 78,000 from the button, and Franczak four-bet all in over the top from the big blind. Margereson called off for 187,000, which created a 218,000 side pot.

Margereson: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Smaron: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Franczak: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

Smaron seemed excited to hold two live overs, but he was left wanting on the {3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} flop. The {5-Clubs} turn gave him a wheel draw, but it was the {K-Spades} river that gave him a pair of kings for the triple. Meanwhile, Margereson's tens were good enough to win the side pot, meaning he profited a little on the hand.

Holz Crippled By Franczak; Eliminated By Chidwick

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

We're not sure how Fedor Holz, who was sitting on a big stack, lost a bunch of his chips, but it's safe to say they went to Piotr Franczak, who reentered during the last break and has been on a tear ever since.

In what would be Holz's final hand, action folded to him on the button and he shoved his short stack, which Stephen Chidwick called from the big blind.

Chidwick: {q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Holz: {j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

Holz needed some help, but it never came as the board ran out {5-Spades}{k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{7-Hearts}.

Meanwhile, JC Alvarado has also been eliminated from the tournament.

Luca Knocks Out Perkins

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Bill Perkins just busted his second bullet against Ivan Luca. Perkins was down to just 35,000 chips when he moved all in before the flop and Ivan Luca made the call.

Perkins: {2-}{2-}
Luca: {10-}{10-}

The board brought just blanks and Perkins was knocked out, as the tournament is already losing lots of players in the early goings.
