Who's in and Who's out

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

The final stage of the night has been reached and the action has heated up. Mustapha Kanit, Erik Seidel, Cary Katz, and Bryn Kenney are among the recent re-entries and after winning a $3k side event, Rainer Kempe has hopped into the action.

Jeff Gross, Justin Bonomo, and Sylvain Loosli are among the recently departed and have not yet fired their second bullet.

Adams Gets a Fold from Mandavia

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

With about 32,000 already in the middle and the board reading {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds} Ankush Mandavia checked from the big blind and his lone opponent, Timothy Adams, checked behind from the button.

The {2-Diamonds} fell on the river and Mandavia bet 22,000. Adams shoved for 64,700, sending Mandavia into the tank for quite some time. He used four time bank slips before he eventually folded and Adams took the pot.

Not a Good Level for Yaroshevskyy

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Igor Yaroshevskyy ran into a cooler situation where he made the nut full house but ran into quads and would bust his first bullet soon after that. After coming back for round two, things didn't fare much better for him.

On a flop reading {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Spades}, Yaroshevksyy got all of his chips in the middle holding {a-Spades}{q-Spades} and was up against Steve O'Dwyer's {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. The turn was no help to Yaroshevskyy and the {10-Diamonds} on the river only improved the hand of O'Dwyer. Yaroshevskyy bolted out of the tournament area as his run has come to an end.

Calderaro Gets a River Fold

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

There were about 10,000 chips already in the pot and the board read {K-Spades}{J-Spades}{6-Hearts}. Steve O'Dwyer checked from the big blind and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau bet 3,600 from under the gun. James Calderaro called from the cutoff and O'Dwyer folded.

The turn brought the {8-Spades} and Vaskaboinikau bet again, 6,700 this time. Calderaro called.

The {7-Clubs} fell on the river and Vaskaboinikau checked. Calderaro tossed out two yellow T-25,000 chips, putting Vaskaboinikau to a decision for his stack. He folded and Calderaro took the pot.

Bonomo Stays Aggressive with Small Bets

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Justin Bonomo opened to 2,500 from middle position and was called by Daniel Dvoress in the big blind. The flop came {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Dvoress checked to Bonono who continued for 3,700. Dvoress called and the {2-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn.

Dvoress checked again and Bonomo fired an additional 4,000. Dvoress thought briefly before folding and sending the pot to Bonomo.

Greenberg Outdraws Mandavia

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On the flop of a {q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Hearts} board, Ankush Mandavia bet 13,000 and Lawrence Greenberg raised to 36,000. Mandavia quickly moved all in and Greenberg snap-called, putting himself at risk.

Mandavia: {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Greenberg: {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

Mandavia was poised to scoop yet another massive pot, needing to fade any pair. The {7-Diamonds} on the turn was safe but the {j-Spades} on the river gave Greenberg a full house and Mandavia was forced to pay 89,500 Greenberg's way.

The flop came {A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Chidwick checked. Kurganov bet 9,200 and Chidwick called.

The turn brought the {7-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The {J-Hearts} fell on the river and Chidwick bet 16,000. Kurganov went into the tank and used one time bank slip before he ultimately folded.
