Kurganov Chipping Up

The board read and Steve O'Dwyer checked from the big blind to Igor Kurganov in the hijack. Kurganov made a bet of 32,000 into a pot of around 35,000. O'Dwyer called and the paired the board on the river.

Aces vs Kings

Dimitar Danchev opened to 5,000 from the hijack and Christopher Kruk three-bet to 15,000 on the button. Javier Gomez Zapatero made a four-bet to 40,000 from the small blind and the action was back on Danchev. He announced a five-bet shove for 123,800 and it was now Kruk's turn to play a little Hollywood. After asking for a count, and then counting his own chips, Kruk pushed the last of his 104,700 chips into the middle as well. Zapatero folded with a shake of his head and the remaining two hands were tabled.

It was no surprise to see two big hands, Danchev with and Kruk with . The board ran out and Kruk's pocket aces held up to leave Danchev with just crumbs.

Within the next couple hands, Danchev was seen exiting the tournament area as his run has come to an end.
