Chop It Up!

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Adrian Mateos opened under the gun plus one for 2,600 and Scott Seiver in the cutoff called. On the button, Isaac Haxton squeezed to 11,500 and the blinds and Mateos folded. Seiver called.

Seiver check-called a bet of 9,000 on {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts} before they both checked the {Q-Spades} turn and {8-Clubs} river. Seiver showed {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and chopped the pot as Haxton tabled {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}.

Orpen Kisacikoglu Eliminated

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

We missed it, but Orpen Kisacikoglu was kind enough to fill us in on the details of his bust out.

Erik Seidel opened for 2,700 and Orpen Kisacikoglu called, as did Stefan Schillhabel. Justin Bonomo squeezed to 15,000 and Kisacikoglu and Schillhabel both called.

Bonomo bet 15,000 on {A-}{9-}{6-} with 2 hearts and just Kisacikoglu called, Schillhabel folded.

Both checked the {A-} on the turn before a {K-} completed the board. Bonomo shoved all in and Kisacikoglu called with {Q-}{Q-}. Bonomo tabled {K-}{K-} and sent Kisacikoglu to the rail as the first player today.

Kisacikoglu has bought back in, taking seat 4 at the same table he was on earlier.

Kenny Takes a Bit of Coin from Hobbs

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Every once in awhile a new face pops up in a Super High Roller, and that's the case here in the PCA $100K.

Kevin Hobbs has a been involved in trading and corporate finance in various roles since 2005, and he now serves as the Director of Operations at The Vanbex Group. While he focuses on Bitcoin/Blockchain industry, today he's turning his attention to poker.

In a recent hand, Kenney raised from the hijack and Hobbs three-bet to 8,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back to Kenney, and he popped it to 27,000, which Hobbs called.

The {5-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop saw Kenney bet 31,000, Hobbs call, and the {10-Clubs} appear on the turn.

Both players checked and then Kenney bet 82,000 on the {3-Diamonds} river. Hobbs called but mucked when Kenney tabled the {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for top pair with top kicker.

Tollerene Gets Value on the River

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

David Peters raised to 3,000 under the gun and Jason Koon called from the cutoff. Ben Tollerene came along from the button, both blinds folded, and the flop fell {a-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{8-Hearts}.

All three players checked and then did the same on the {8-Clubs} turn. When the {8-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, Tollerene bet 10,000 after both his opponents had checked.

Peters got out of the way but Koon paid it off. Tollerene tabled the {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for eights full of aces, and Koon mucked.

Greenwood Flushes Kisacikoglu

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Justin Bonomo, while discussing the room service options with one of the waitresses, opened for 3,000 from middle position. Sam Greenwood called from the cutoff, Orpen Kisacikoglu called from the small blind, and big blind Stefan Schillhabel came along to see a flop as well.

The blinds and initial raiser Bonomo checked on {4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Greenwood bet 4,500 and just Kisacikoglu called. Kisacikoglu check-called another 15,000 on the {8-Hearts} turn and 60,000 on the {K-Diamonds} river.

Greenwood showed {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Kisacikoglu mucked.

Things Get Hard When You're Up Against Bryn Kenney

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

With roughly 10,000 in the pot and a flop of {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Hearts}, Bryn Kenney, who last year finished seventh in this event, checked from the big blind and Kevin Hart bet 6,000 from the cutoff.

Kenney called and then action went check-check on the {J-Hearts} turn. When the {8-Clubs} double paired the board on the river, Kenney checked and Hart bet 10,000.

Kenney called with the {a-Spades}{5-Spades} for aces and jacks, and it was good as Hart flicked his cards to the muck.

Adams Doesn't Pull the Trigger

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Ben Tollerene opened the hijack for 2,500 and both Timothy Adams in the small blind and Jason Koon in the big blind called.

The blinds checked on {3-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Tollerene bet 2,500. Adams check-raised to 8,000 and Koon and Tollerene called.

Adams fired 25,000 on the {Q-Spades} turn and Koon folded. Tollerene called.

As the {J-Hearts} completed the board, Adams had a little under pot behind and checked. Tollerene tanked for a bit before checking behind. Tollerene showed {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and Adams mucked.
