Negreanu Fails to Bluff Aldemir

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

With approximately 10,000 in the pot and a flop of {j-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu bet 7,000 from under the gun and Koray Aldemir, who was to his direct left, made the call.

Both players then checked the {9-Clubs} turn and the {5-Hearts} completed the board on the river.

Negreanu dropped in four yellow T25,000 chips for a big bet of 100,000, and Aldemir hit the tank. He burned through a time extension before making the call with the {5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, and it was good as Negreanu flashed the {a-Spades}{q-Spades}.

Another Battle Between Kisacikoglu and Kruk

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Minutes after their first pot, Orpen Kisacikoglu and Christopher Kruk clashed again. This time it was a battle of the blinds.

Orpen Kisacikoglu opened for 3,500 from the small blind and big blind Kruk called.

Kisacikoglu checked on {10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{K-Spades} and called as Kruk bet 2,500.

Both checked the {A-Diamonds} on the turn before Kisacikoglu checked a third time on the {5-Diamonds} river. Kruk bet 7,000 and Kisacikoglu called instantly.

Kruk showed {7-Spades}{9-Spades}, Kisacikoglu took it down displaying {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}.

Hollywood and Poker Heavy Hitters Take Their Seats

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Bryn Kenney, who killed it in 2017 thanks in no small part to a heater at last year's PCA, just jumped into the field.

Likewise, Kevin Hart, the star of current box office hit Jumanji, has also taken his seat.

With around 24,000 in the pot and a board reading {2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}, Orpen Kisacikoglu bet 10,000 from the hijack and Christopher Kruk called from the cutoff.

When the {Q-Hearts} completed the board on the river, Kisacikoglu fired out 46,000 and Kruk mulled it over for a bit before dropping in a call.

Kisacikoglu rolled over the {k-Spades}{8-Spades} for two pair, and it was good as Kruk sent his hand to the muck.

More Players Join the Field

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

PokerStars Team Pro Daniel Negreanu just entered the tournament room on his little scooter, presumably because he injured one of his legs. Also in attendance, just walking into the tournament room, is French high roller aficionado Jean-Noel Thorel.
