Nitsche Waits Until the River

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

James Romero opened to 9,000 in early position and was called by Dominik Nitsche on his left, Ben Heath in the cutoff, and Shyngis Satubayev on the button. The flop came {k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} and the action checked through to the {q-Hearts} on the turn and the {5-Clubs} on the river.

Finally, Nitsche was the first to take a stab at the pot with a bet of 30,000. Heath and Satubayev both folded but Romero looked him up. Nitsche tabled {k-Spades}{j-Spades} and Romero mucked his cards.

Near the end of the level, Henrik Hecklen, Kristen Bicknell, and Pavel Plesuv all hit the rail. The remaining 30 players are heading on another 15-minute break.

Bonomo Can't Find a Fold

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Justin Bonomo checked in the small blind and big blind Sean Winter set him in for about 130,000 on a completed board of {9-Spades}{a-Hearts}{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}.

"I've got a big hand," Bonomo said softly.

Nonetheless, he needed some thinking time before dropping in a stack of chips to call. Winter tabled {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for aces up and Bonomo revealed inferior two pair of {7-}{3-} before taking his leave.

Kruk Stacking Lots Again

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Ariel Celestino opened for 8,500 in middle position and Christopher Kruk made it 26,000 on the button. Celestino reraised all in and Kruk quickly called with {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Celestino was crushed with {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

The {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop put Kruk in great position to double. The {8-Hearts} gave the Brazilian some outs but the river was a {k-Clubs}. Celestino shipped over 166,500.

The turn brought the {2-Spades} and Muehlocker led out for another 33,000. Kovalski still called to see the {k-Diamonds} on the river. Both players checked after using a time bank and Muehloecker showed {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} for the winner.

Hecklen Doubles Through Bonomo

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Justin Bonomo opened from middle position and Henrik Hecklen ripped all in for 52,000 in the small blind. Bonomo asked for a quick count and then made the call.

Henrik Hecklen: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Justin Bonomo: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}

The flop of {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs} gave Hecklen a set and Bonomo was drawing nearly dead. The {a-Diamonds} on the turn sealed the deal and Bonomo sent a full double up Hecklen's way.
