Kruk is in Pain

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

The board read {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{j-Spades} with around 62,500 in the middle.

Isaac Haxton had checked in the big blind and so did Christopher Kruk on the button.

The river completed the board with the {k-Hearts}, Haxton tanked, using a time bank card and then opted to check. Kruk reluctantly checked too and then mucked with an audible groan as Haxton tabled {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} which incited laughter from the rest of the table.

Over on one of the other tables, Talal Shakerchi was eliminated.

Seth Davies raised to 2,000 from under the gun and was called by Timothy Adams in the small blind.

Adams check-called the 1,500 continuation-bet of Davies on the {a-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop to see the {4-Clubs} come on the turn.

They both checked for the {6-Hearts} complete the board on the river. Adams took over the initiative and bet 3,000 but Davies raised to 17,000 on which Adams decided to fold.

The flop came {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, both Thorel and Reeves checked. Petrangelo bet 2,500, Thorel folded, and Reeves raised to 11,000 which Petrangelo called.

They both checked through the {2-Hearts} on the turn to the {j-Hearts} on the river. Reeves checked for the last time. Petrangelo barreled a bet of 31,000 over the line and Reeves folded after using a time bank card to consider his options.
