Farrell Takes From Hallaert; Zinno Doubles Up

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

In a three-bet pot, Kenny Hallaert checked to Niall Farrell on the button who bet 15,000 on a {Q-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} board. Hallaert called the bet before the {9-Hearts} turn got checked around.

The {4-Hearts} came on the river and Hallaert check-folded to a 40,000 bet from Farrell.

At another table, our friends over at the PokerStars blog caught a double-up from Anthony Zinno, who had flopped a set of threes on a king-high board against a pair of jacks from Yang Zhang and held up.

Back to the Drawing Board for Yoon

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Brian Yoon started the day with seven big blinds, doubled at least two times, but now has been sent back down all the way to the very same short stack after a hand against Rajesh Vohra.

Yoon opened first to act and Vohra defended the big blind. On the {K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, Vohra check-raised from 4,500 to 11,000 and Yoon called. They checked the {3-Spades} turn and Vohra bet the {2-Diamonds} river for 22,000. Yoon reluctantly called after some consideration and Vohra tabled {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a flopped set as the winning hand.
