Davidi Kitai

Anton Astapu opened to 2,500 from the hijack before Davidi Kitai three-bet to 7,000 on his direct left. Hertsel Levy cold-called from the button and Astapu folded.

Kitai check-called for 7,300 on the {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} flop and then jammed for his last 13,000 on the {8-Spades} turn. Levy snap-called.

Davidi Kitai: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Hertsel Levy: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

Kitai had flopped top pair but Derwiche turned a set to have the best hand. The {7-Hearts} river completed the board and confirmed the Belgian's departure but he has since decided to reenter.

Vulliet Leaves Lefrancois Very Short

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Pascal Lefrancois raised it up to get called by Adrien Vulliet and Andras Nemeth, the latter of which was in the big blind. On a {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop, Nemeth check-folded to Lefrancois' bet of 2,000 and the call of Vulliet. Lefrancois bet another 4,000 on the {4-Diamonds} turn to pick up a call and checked the {k-Spades} river with few chips behind.

Vulliet bet 15,000 and Lefrancois sigh-folded. That left the latter with just 11,200, which he doubled shortly after.

Casuo Eliminates Schumacher

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Yannick Schumacher moved all in for his final 9,500 from early position and action folded around to Alan Casuo on the button who moved all in over the top for around 50,000. The blinds folded.

Yannick Schumacher: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Alan Casuo: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Schumacher's pocket jacks were dominated by Casuo's pocket queens. It was a clean runout for Casuo as the board ran out {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} to eliminate Schumacher from the tournament.

Seidel Mucks to Tamasauskas

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a heads-up flop of {4-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}, Vladas Tamasauskas check-called a bet of 3,500 from Erik Seidel on the button.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and both players decided to check to the {4-Spades} river.

Tamasauskas then led out for 1,200 and after a few moments, Seidel made the call.

"Full house," Tamasauskas announced as he turned over {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for fours full of kings. Seidel quickly mucked and the pot was pushed to Tamasauskas.

Bohlman Busts Simpson and Loeser

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Scott Bohlman
Scott Bohlman

Manig Loeser raised to 2,400 and Scott Bohlman in the small blind three-bet to 9,000. Conrad Simpson then four-bet jammed from the big blind for 36,100 and Loeser asked for an exact count. The EPT Monte-Carlo champion mulled it over for a minute and shipped it in over the top for around 62,000.

Bohlman asked for a rough count and took some 30 seconds before making the call. Once the cards were revealed, there were some gasps at the table.

Conrad Simpson: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Manig Loeser: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Scott Bohlman: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop left both Simpson and Loeser on the ropes. No miracle escape followed on the {9-Spades} turn and the {5-Diamonds} river only improved Bohlman to the best flush.

"He is a mixed game player, he doesn't know how to play Hold'em," Dustin Dirksen chimed in when some players suspected a slowroll. Bohlman replied "this is like my 25th best game" before adding he had just lost a large pot with kings versus aces not long ago during another event.
