Pantaleo Takes Another Hit

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Giuseppe Pantaleo
Giuseppe Pantaleo

With plenty of chips in the middle to the {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{5-Spades} river, Giuseppe Pantaleo bet 30,000 out of the big blind. Johan Guilbert then raised it up to 163,000 and kept one T-1,000 chip behind. Pantaleo went deep into the tank as he used three time bank extensions and eventually sent the cards into the muck.

Blomberg First Casualty on Day 4

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The cards were already on their backs when Colton Blomberg was all-in and at risk out of the big blind on a flop of {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, looked up by button raiser Justin Bonomo.

Colton Blomberg: {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Justin Bonomo: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

Neither the {j-Diamonds} turn nor the {9-Clubs} river provided any help and that spelled the end for Blomberg in the first level of the day.

Linde Wins Showdown Pot Versus Brewer

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Picking up the action on the {q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{j-Spades} turn, Chris Brewer checked his option and then faced a bet worth 51,000 by Dylan Linde in middle position. Brewer used one time bank and grabbed several green T-25,000 chips before he elected to call.

The {5-Clubs} river was checked and Brewer tabled the {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a missed open-ended, which was beaten by the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} of Linde.

Konnikova Takes From Pantaleo

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Maria Konnikova defended her big blind against an open raise by Giuseppe Pantaleo and both checked the {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop. On the {j-Spades} turn, Konnikova checked and called when Pantaleo made it 42,000 to go.

The {7-Spades} river was checked and the {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for two pair by Konnikova was enough to claim the pot.

Justin Zaki: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Michael Rocco: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
