Wakil Extracts Value From Raymond

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Jamil Wakil
Jamil Wakil

Jamil Wakil raised to 55,000 in the cutoff and found a single caller in Alexandre Raymond out of the big blind. The duo headed to the {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop on which Raymond check-called for 80,000.

The same action repeated on the {2-Spades} turn for 200,000 and Raymond then checked the {k-Clubs} on the river. Wakil now made it 480,000 to go and received a rather swift call by Raymond, who flicked in a single chip and in the same motion exposed his {a-Spades}{5-Hearts} for aces and fives.

Wakil had that beat with the {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} and Raymond tapped the table with an "nice hand" to lose a significant portion of his stack.
