Kisacikoglu Pulls Ahead of Martirosian

Level 6 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Heads-up to the {k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}{a-Hearts} turn, Artur Martirosian check-raised from 12,000 to 45,000 and Orpen Kisacikoglu called to see the {j-Spades} on the turn. Martirosian checked again and Kisacikoglu then bet 75,000, which earned the pot uncontested.

Kisacikoglu continued his aggressive approach with another larger pot when he took on Michael Addamo. A large bet on the {7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades} river did the trick for Kisacikoglu, as Addamo gave up the pot.

Haxton Shoves River Into Pardo

Level 6 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton

In a heads-up pot with 21,000 in the middle on a board showing {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, Isaac Haxton led out from the small blind for 12,500 and Pardo came along from the hijack.

The {4-Hearts} completed the board and Haxton took a few seconds before moving all in, covering the 220,000 remaining for Pardo, who went deep in the tank.

After using two time bank cards, Pardo slid his cards to the dealer and the pot was shipped to this years PCA $100,000 Super High Roller Champion.

"Did you know he had that much?" said one of the players at the table to Haxton who was collecting the pot.

"I was excited about how strong my hand was, didn't really think it through," replied Haxton as he stacked his chips.

Short Stack Double for Smith

Level 6 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Juan Pardo raised to 6,000 and Dan Smith then pushed all-in for 31,000 in the cutoff. A brief tank by Pardo then resulted in a call and the cards were tabled.

Dan Smith: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Juan Pardo: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

The {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} board kept Smith in contention but he remains the shortest stack in the field.

Martirosian Prevails in Three-Bet Pot Against Mateos

Level 6 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Adrian Mateos opened the action with a raise to 6,500 in the cutoff and he then called a three-bet to 20,000 on the button by Artur Martirosian. On the {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop, Mateos checked and subsequently called a bet of 11,500.

Both checked through the {j-Clubs} turn and {j-Diamonds} river which brought quads jacks on the board. Mateos revealed the {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Martirosian won the pot with the {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

Ponakovs Has No Reason to Worre

Level 6 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Aleksejs Ponakovs
Aleksejs Ponakovs

Aleksejs Ponakovs opened to 5,500 just before the blinds went up and was called by Nick Petrangelo. Eric Worre then three-bet to 27,500 and Ponakovs was the only caller.

On the {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop, Worre bet 12,000 and Ponakovs raised to 40,000 in order for Worre to call. The {10-Spades} on the turn was checked by both and the {4-Spades} river completed the board. Worre checked again and Ponakovs used one time bank before he made it 50,000 to go.

That won the pot uncontested as Worre sent his cards into the muck.

Haxton Continues Heater With 2023 PCA $100K Super High Roller Victory

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton

There was another great High Roller victory for Isaac Haxton in the PCA $100,000 Super High Roller, winning over $1,000,000 after a three-way chop.

The American made an ICM deal with Seth Davies and Adrian Mateos, and came out on top as the trio played it out to decide the victor.

This result came less than a week after another High Roller victory in Las Vegas, with Haxton calling it a fantastic start to the year.

"I don't think I've ever won two tournaments in a row before, and these are pretty good ones to do it in," Haxton told PokerNews in a winner's interview. "So yeah, I'm feeling great. This is a fantastic start to the year."

Davies Gets Max Value With Full House

Level 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Seth Davies opened to 6,000 from early position and both Timothy Adams on the button and Rob Yong in the big blind made the call.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}. Yong quickly checked to Davies who continued for 7,000 and both Adams and Yong called. On the {5-Clubs} turn play slowed down with all three players checking to the {9-Diamonds} river.

Yong checked a third time to Davies who sized up to 35,000. Adams took a moment before letting his hand go, and after close to 30-seconds, Yong flicked in a chip for the call.

Davies announced "full house," and rolled over {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a rivered boat which scooped the pot after Yong mucked.
