Three Quick Hands Before the Break; Pardo on Fumes

Level 6 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Dan Smith
Dan Smith

Juan Pardo raised to 7,000 on the button and instantly called the three-bet shove by Dan Smith in the small blind with a near identical shorter stack.

Dan Smith: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Juan Pardo: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The coin flip went to Smith, who made nines full of kings on the {k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{k-Spades}{10-Diamonds} runout to double his 115,500.

Three ways to a {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop, Eric Worre checked and David Yan bet 8,000 and Mikita Badziakouski then raised to 20,000. Worre checked the shorter stacks of both opponents to then check-raise to 175,000 and earn two quick folds.

Last but not least, Artur Martirosian check-raised a {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop in a blind battle versus Justin Bonomo and received a call by Bonomo. The {4-Spades} turn brought a bet worth 23,000 by Martirosian and Bonomo called. Both checked the {6-Diamonds} river and Bonomo earned the pot with the {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}.

Smith Picks Up Small One; Heath Scores Four-Bet Pot

Level 6 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Ben Heath
Ben Heath

In a multi-way pot with 24,000 in the middle on a flop of {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, Isaac Haxton and Ben Heath checked from the blinds to Dan Smith in the cutoff who bet 6,000. Haxton made the call and Heath got out of the way.

On the {2-Spades} turn both players checked to the {10-Clubs} river. Haxton quickly checked and after a moment, Smith checked back. Haxton rolled over {k-Clubs}{10-Spades} for a pair of tens but was no good against the {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} of Smith.

A couple hands later Smith opened to 6,500 from the hijack and Haxton put in a three-bet to 20,000 on the button. Heath decided to put a cold-four bet in to 57,000 and only Haxton made the call.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Heath continued for 24,000. Haxton took his time, but in the end made the fold and Heath took the pot.

Level 6 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

With 101,000 chips in the middle preflop, Jean-Noel Thorel in the big blind checked the {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop. Chris Brewer bet 50,000 and Thorel gave it a couple of seconds before coming along.

Yan Gets a Shove Through; Greenwood Recovers Lost Chips

Level 6 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

David Yan raised from under the gun and was called by Sam Greenwood. On a {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop, Yan continued for 10,500 to earn a call and that led them to the {4-Clubs} turn. Yan now jammed for 42,000 and Greenwood folded.

Soon after, Greenwood was involved in action against Aleksejs Ponakovs and called a check-raise to 25,000 on the {a-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} flop. Aleksejs Ponakovs
Aleksejs Ponakovs

David Yan had been the initial preflop raiser in the cutoff and Aleksejs Ponakovs on the button as well as Mikita Badziakouski in the big blind stuck around. Three ways to the {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop, it checked to Ponakovs and he bet 19,000. Badziakouski opted to fold while Yan made the call.

Yan checked the {2-Hearts} turn before calling a bet of 47,000 by Ponakovs and checked the {k-Clubs} on the river, too. Ponakovs used one time bank and then moved all-in with the far biggest stack to win the pot.
