No Showdown Win for Hecklen

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick raised to 18,000 and folded when Nick Petrangelo three-bet jammed.

Chidwick then opened to 18,000 soon after and was called by Henrik Hecklen. On the {7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop, Hecklen check-called a bet worth 12,000 and the {2-Hearts} turn went check, check. Hecklen opted to bet the {4-Spades} river for 72,000 and Chidwick folded.

Yan Busts Adams To Extend Lead

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

In a heads-up pot with roughly 180,000 in the middle on a completed board of {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, Timothy Adams checked from the big blind to David Yan on the button who moved all in, covering the 246,000 remaining for Adams.

After close to two minutes in the tank, Adams tossed in a chip to make the call. Yan quickly tabled {q-Spades}{10-Hearts} for flopped two pair and Adams flashed {q-Diamonds}{4-Spades} before making his way to the exit.

Yan Forces Out Martirosian

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

David Yan once more applied pressure against Artur Martirosian and three-bet to 55,000 out of the small blind, which Martirosian on the button called. They headed to the {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop and Yan continued for 42,000, the call by Martirosian followed.

After the {7-Clubs} turn, Yan sized up to 165,000 and that got rid of Martirosian eventually.

Smith Felted by Katz

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Dan Smith
Dan Smith

Just before the blinds went up, Sam Greenwood raised to 13,000 from under the gun and was called by Isaac Haxton and Dan Smith in the big blind.

The {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop was checked to Haxton and his bet worth 29,000 was called only by Greenwood. They checked down the {7-Diamonds} turn and {4-Diamonds} river as Greenwood held the winning hand in {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}.

Cary Katz then opened to 13,000 and Smith three-bet jammed for around 170,000 getting instantly called by Katz with the covering stack.

Dan Smith: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Cary Katz: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{j-Spades} flop gave Katz the top two pair while Smith had bottom pair with a straight draw. Nothing changed on the {4-Hearts} turn and {5-Diamonds} river to send Smith out of the tournament.

Chidwick Sends Davies To The Exit

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Seth Davies
Seth Davies

The action folded around to Justin Bonomo who limped in on the button and Stephen Chidwick raised to 27,000 from the small blind. Seth Davies was in the big blind and already forced all in. Bonomo took some time before making the call.

The flop fanned out {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, Chidwick continued for 16,000, and Bonomo came along. On the {q-Clubs}, play slowed down with both players checking their options to the {5-Diamonds} river.

Chidwick tossed out 30,000 and Bonomo went in the tank. After using one time bank card, Bonomo made the fold and the cards were shown.

Seth Davies: {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Stephen Chidwick: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Davies' pair of kings was trailing aces-up for Chidwick and Davies was eliminated.

Adams Gets Two Streets Versus Hook

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Timothy Adams made it 13,000 to go in the cutoff and the only caller thereafter was Chalie Hook in the big blind. On a flop of {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, Hook check-called for 8,000 and did so for 26,000 on the {3-Clubs} turn. Both checked the {3-Diamonds} river and Hook exposed {k-}{10-}, which was beaten by the {k-Spades}{j-Hearts} of Adams.

Chidwick Scores Huge Pot Off Davies

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick opened to 13,000 from under the gun and Seth Davies three-bet to 30,000 next to act. It folded back around to Chidwick who made the call.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and both players checked their options to the {2-Spades} turn. Chidwick led out for 38,000 and Davies came along to the {j-Clubs} river.

Chidwick took some time before checking over to Davies who announced 99,000, leaving a single 1,000-chip behind. After close to a minute of thought, Chidwick tossed a chip in for the call and the hands were shown.

Davies tabled {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for a pair of jacks but was no good against the {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for Chidwick.

Adams Beats Addamo in Showdown

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With a button raise and continuation bet already pulled into the middle to the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{9-Clubs} turn, Timothy Adams in the small blind checked and Michael Addamo checked back. The {7-Spades} river was then checked by Adams and Addamo bet 50,000 into 98,000.

Adams mulled it over for a short while and made the call to win the pot with the {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, as Addamo only held {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for jack-high.

Mateos Eliminated; Yan Continues to Rise

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
David Yan
David Yan

Soon after the three table redraw, Artur Martirosian raised to 21,000 in the small blind and then folded when David Yan in the big blind made it 58,000 to go.

Rob Yong won a tiny three-way pot after he bet the {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop successfully.

Martirosian then opened to 13,000 in the cutoff and Yan three-bet to 40,000 on the button.

"How much do you have?" Adrian Mateos in the big blind inquired to Martirosian, who revealed his stack size. Mateos jammed for around 120,000 and Martirosian folded, Yan snap-called.

Adrian Mateos: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
David Yan: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The dominated pair found no help on a {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{4-Hearts} runout and that spelled the end for Mateos.
