Vogelsang Sends Petrangelo To The Exit

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Nick Petrangelo
Nick Petrangelo

The action folded to Christoph Vogelsang in the cutoff who opened for 16,000 and Nick Petrangelo moved all in for 112,000 next to act. The blinds got out of the way and Vogelsang quickly called.

Nick Petrangelo: {a-Spades}{2-Spades}
Christoph Vogelsang: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The board ran out a sweat for the tens of Vogelsang on a {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, but when the river fell the {5-Hearts} it was the end of the road for Petrangelo as he exited in 17th place.

Yan Takes It All From Addamo

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Michael Addamo
Michael Addamo

David Yan defended the big blind against Michael Addamo and check-called two streets before they checked the {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades} river. Yan tabled the {k-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Addamo mucked to drop to around 80,000.

It didn't take long before the remaining short stack went into the middle and his former nemesis looked up the Aussie in a heartbeat.

Michael Addamo: {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
David Yan: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop left Addamo on the ropes and it was all over with the {q-Clubs} turn, by which Addamo grabbed his few chips and placed them neatly on Yan's growing tower. The {2-Diamonds} river was a formality and the rich got richer.

Chip and a Chair Comeback for Petrangelo

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Nick Petrangelo
Nick Petrangelo

After an all-in showdown of Nick Petrangelo against Justin Bonomo in which the latter scored a full double, Petrangelo was left with two and a half big blinds.

Christoph Vogelsang raised on the button to 18,000 and Petrangelo called all-in for that very amount, Orpen Kisacikoglu called in the big blind as well. The {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop was checked to Vogelsang and his bet of 16,000 forced out Kisacikoglu.

Nick Petrangelo: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Christoph Vogelsang: {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

The superior hand remained ahead on the {3-Clubs} turn and {5-Diamonds} river as Petrangelo tripled up.

Soon after, he three-bet jammed for 65,000 and Vogelsang as the initial raiser called.

Nick Petrangelo: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Christoph Vogelsang: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Once more it was Petrangelo who came out ahead on the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} board to continue the comeback.

No Worre's At All For Thorel

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Eric Worre
Eric Worre

After losing a larger portion of his stack, Eric Worre committed 189,000 before the flop and was called by the red-hot running Jean-Noel Thorel. Worre only had 5,000 behind but both already exposed their cards anyways before the {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} flop on which the last of it went into the middle.

Eric Worre: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Jean-Noel Thorel: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The {10-Diamonds} turn gave Worre a gutshot but the {q-Clubs} river failed to keep the businessman in contention.

Haxton Hits The Rail

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton

After losing most of his stack on the previous hand, Isaac Haxton moved all in for 24,000 from under the gun and was called by Chris Brewer in the big blind.

Isaac Haxton: {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Chris Brewer: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}

The board ran out {3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Spades} and the rivered straight gave Brewer the win to send Haxton out in 20th place.

Thorel Leaves Haxton on Fumes

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Jean-Noel Thorel
Jean-Noel Thorel

Jean-Noel Thorel had won a large pot against Isaac Haxton to leave the latter short, who then three-bet jammed and flashed the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

The next button raise by Haxton was called by Thorel in the big blind. The duo headed to a {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop on which Thorel check-called for 11,000. Another check-call on the {j-Hearts} turn then led to the {4-Spades} river and Thorel checked once more.

Haxton double-fist bet 162,000 and Thorel called instantly to get shown the {j-Clubs}{2-Clubs} by Haxton. However, his kicker played as Thorel had the {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and was all smiles, exclaiming "eight" while pointing at the card.

That left Haxton with 4,000 and he called all-in after an open raise to 20,000 by Aleksejs Ponakovs.

Isaac Haxton: {a-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Aleksejs Ponakovs: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts} board increased Haxton's fumes five-fold for the moment.
