Thomas Taylor opened in middle position and Nicholas Pupillo called in the big blind.
Pupillo checked on the flop of 9♥2♠6♦ and Taylor bet. Pupillo check-raised to two bets and Taylor called. Pupillo then check-called on the 10♦ turn and again on the 4♦ river.
Taylor showed A♦10♣ for top pair and it was good to win the pot.
Patrick Hu-A-Kam: A♥10♣10♠6♣2♦XxXx
Damjan Radanov: K♥K♦Q♥Qx7♠3xXx
The second short stack of Day 2 has fallen as Patrick Hu-A-Kam got his chips in with a pair of tens and couldn't improve against the kings of Damjan Radanov, who ended up with kings up to send Hu-A-Kam out in eighth place for $2,334.
Carol Anderson: AxXx/AxXxXxXxXx - All in on sixth street
Adam Kipnis: JxJx/Jx10x9x6xXx
Carol Anderson was the first casualty of the day as her pair of aces was crushed by the rolled up jacks of Kipnis, who had Anderson drawing thin the whole way before she got her final chips in on sixth street.
Anderson failed to hit a third ace to go out in ninth place for $2,307.

The H.O.R.S.E. championship will consist of orbits of Limit Hold'em, Omaha 8 or Better, Razz, Seven Card Stud and Stud 8 or Better. Some of those games may be unfamiliar to some readers, but that isn't the case for the remaining players. Arieh's most recent live bracelet, for example, came from a victory in the 2023 $25,000 High Roller H.O.R.S.E., which also earned the "Team Lucky" member $711.313.
