The exciting Chainsaw Mixed Series of Poker (CMSOP) continues on today with Day 2 of the CMSOP Limit Omaha 8 or Better Championship, which PokerNews will be on-site to provide live updates, photos and social media coverage of.

Day 1 of the championship event, the first of three of the Allen Kessler-run mixed game series at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, drew 62 entrants for a prize pool of $60,760 and saw 12 players bagging.

Leading the way is Washington's Rajendra Ajmani, while 2006 WSOP Player of the Year Jeff Madsen and bracelet winners Nick Pupillo and Tyler Patterson are also in the mix, as is Los Angeles grinder Shirley Rosario.

Day 2 will kick off at noon local time and will play to a winner, who will earn the trophy and first-place prize of $18,411.

There have been plenty of highlights so far from the CMSOP, including Poker Hall of Famer Eli Elezra taking a break from high-stakes cash games to win $600 Triple Stud for $8,614, as well as two-time bracelet winner Qinghai Pan winning $600 Limit Omaha 8 or Better for $7,380.
