A player in middle position raised to 3,000, Drew Person was in the hijack and three bet to 9,000. The player on the button moved all in for 25,000. The original raiser folded and Person called.

The board ran out nine high and Person took down the pot.
Dave Shiska limped in from early position, and both blinds came along as well. The three players checked through the entire board of but the other two players mucked their hands when big blind Chase Raabe showed down for the runner-runner straight.
Sheldon Kent raised to 1,700 preflop and got three bet to 3,000 from the player on the button. Kent re-raised to 15,000 and his opponent went all in. Kent called.

The flop did not give the player on the button any additional outs and Kent was able to fade the turn and the river to eliminate his opponent.
Don Karasewich was first into the pot with limp from the hijack. He got a call from the cutoff before Gabe Novelli made it 2,900 to go. Karasewich was the only caller.
Novelli checked the flop and Karasewich bet 3,000. Novelli check called, and both players checked the turn. But when Novelli checked the river, Karasewich bombed the pot for 15,000. Novelli called quickly, but mucked just as quickly when Karasewich revealed his for the flopped trips and turned boat.
All the numbers are in now, and the prize pool for the Main Event topped out at $233,000. That sum will be split 24 ways with the top prize set at $61,499. The first players to exit in the money will get a min-cash of $2,476, and players who make the ten-handed final table are all guaranteed nearly $5,000. The 10th-place finisher will get $4,741, but everyone else at the table wins more than $5,000.
Of course, in addition to the prize money, there's also a trophy and the championship ring up for grabs, as well as one of the most unique "trophies" in poker, the custom-fitted winner's jacket. Full payout details can be found under the Payouts tab.

The flop improved Doyle to a pair but gave her opponent an open-ended straight draw . The turn and river changed nothing and Doyle eliminated her opponent.
The tournament staff is still crunching all the numbers, but they've confirmed the total entries today is 233. That makes this the second highest Main Event attendance ever for the PlayNow Poker Championship in Winnipeg. The spring edition of this series saw 254 entries, but other than that one, the next highest attendance was last fall at 225.
