Nguyen Flipped Out by Manh

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

An Bao Thi Nguyen was all-in for what appeared to be around 260,000 and she was flipping against table neighbour Ha Tuong Manh.

An Bao Thi Nguyen: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Ha Tuong Manh: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The classic flip saw a board of {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{8-Spades} after which Nguyen was sent to the payout desk in 62nd place. When she was asked if a different preflop action would have changed anything, Nguyen replied "I am not folding anyways".

Patni Doubles Through Parthasarathi

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Over on the live stream feature table, Kunal Patni open-shoved for the last 111,000 in the cutoff and was looked up by fellow countryman Shardul Parthasarathi on the button.

Kunal Patni: {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Shardul Parthasarathi: {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

The {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds} board secured the double up of Patni while both players from India remain short-stacked.

More for Gardner; Huang Vanishes

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Grant Gardner had finished the job he previously started and knocked out Trung Van Nguyen to boost his stack further, joining the biggest stacks in the room.

The same table then also lost Vincent Huang, who was down to 15 big blinds when he got it in with the {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}. He was looked up by Fu Bang Huang with the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} and an ace-high flop left Huang with just a gutshot. Two blanks later the field lost another well-known contender.

Kim Doubles Through Nguyen

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Huyen Kinh Nguyen was all-in for 119,000 with the {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and only had one overcard to fear, as he was up against the {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} of Hojin Kim.

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{9-Clubs} and that kept Nguyen in contention.

Han Eliminated in Three-Way Action

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Anh Tuan Nguyen raised to 20,000 and was called by Linh Khanh Ta. Sehoon Han then pushed all-in for 58,000 and was called both ways.

On a board of {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, Nguyen increased his bet size a notch on each street. The first bet of 20,000 was doubled to 40,000 and the final bet was worth 60,000. Ta reluctantly called and the cards were revealed.

Han's {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} had missed, as Nguyen had the {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for nines and fours. That also beat the {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} of Ta, who dropped to half the average.
