The Hot Sauce Has Arrived

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Richard Marquez
Richard Marquez

In a min-clicked pot for 40,000 each to a three-way flop of {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, Jiwon Yoon got his last 37,000 in and was called by Richard Marquez and Vu Tien Do. The {2-Hearts} on the turn was checked through and the {a-Clubs} fell on the river. Do bet 65,000 and then called the shove by Marquez for well over 240,000.

Yoon tabled his {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} but that was no good, as Marquez held the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} for nines full. Do was also beaten with the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and took a major blow to his stack. The Filipino, nicknamed "Hot Sauce" has vaulted near the top of the leaderboard with this large pot.

As the stacks are getting slightly more shallow, the frequent all-in showdowns keep on coming and it is no surprise to see more than two players involved. The latest one involved Shardul Parthasarathi, Duy Hai Ngoc Nguyen and Jeremy Touboulic with the latter as the shortest stack.

Jeremy Touboulic: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Duy Hai Ngoc Nguyen: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Shardul Parthasarathi: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Thanks to the {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts} board Nguyen had reason to celebrate and mentioned that it was "my lucky hand".

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The feature table switched for the third time and now features Kunal Patni. He was involved in an all-in showdown soon after sitting down there and had Chung Yi Ho at risk.

Patni's {j-Hearts}{j-Spades} was ahead versus {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} but the {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop gave Ho the top pair. However, Patni hit running cards for a straight to score the knockout. You can follow the action on a 30-minute delay on the Poker Dream Facebook page.
