In a battle cutoff versus button, Harun Mzb check-jammed over the top of a bet worth 50,000 by Won Jae Lee on a completed board of 10♦6♥3♠Q♥7♦. The shove was for 70,000 more and and Lee tank-folded once again, but still had a healthy stack.
What followed next was a battle of the players from South Korea when Lee jammed himself on a 8♠6♦3♠9♣ turn. Junho Kim sigh-called for the 110,500 he had behind and that created a large pot at the very end of level 12.

The 2♦ river kept the aces in the lead and Lee was left with slightly more than the starting stack as the final 40 players headed into a scheduled 15-minute break.

Spain's Paul Fontan Castrillon asked for a five but the wish wasn't granted because the dealer mucked his cards right away and then shipped the pot over to Maurillo Balauitan. On a board of J♥3♣2♦A♦7♥, the A♠J♠ of Balauitan made trips aces and that was good enough to score the knockout.
Soon after, the next table broke as the field was down to the last 40 hopefuls.

Side Event winner Kok Weng Beh had re-entered before the late registration closed but never got to run up a stack. He now three-bet jammed for just 31,500 and Chi Fu Sze looked him up after a couple of seconds of consideration.

The task became more difficult on the 8♣7♣5♥ flop as Sze picked up the nut flush draw on top. Some chop outs came with the 6♦ turn but the 5♠ river paired the board to eliminate Beh.

Eng Siang Ewe was a big stack not long ago before his previous table broke but that role has now been taken over by Lijun Zhang and Hui Shen Mok. It was the latter who claimed the chips of Ewe when he was up against pocket fives with the 5♠.
Mok's J♦J♣ suddenly had plenty of outs to dodge on the 10♠4♠2♠ flop but he did so successfully on the Q♥ turn and J♥ river.

Xiaoling Li was all-in with a short stack and looked up by fellow countryman Yin Liu, which led to the following showdown.

Hal Rotholz looked up two shorter stacks in Yuan Xiang Cheong and Bryan Khoo, and the following cards were revealed.

The 10♦7♣6♣ flop kept Cheong in the lead and the J♣ turn improved him to a set. Rotholz could not win the pot anymore while Khoo was hoping for a king or clubs. Neither came with the 6♦ river as Cheong made jacks full of sixes.

Tien Thanh Dinh raised it up to 4,000 and then called a three-bet to 12,000 by Harun Mzb from the next seat. It checked to Mzb on the 9♦7♥3♣ flop and he bet for the win.
Soon after, three players looked up the short stack all-in of Marcuss Liow, which led to the A♣7♥5♦8♦K♣ river. Mzb bet 6,000 when checked to and Jose Drilon folded, as did Dinh. Mzb tabled the K♦Q♦ and it was good enough for the win, as Liow sent the cards into the muck.

William Teoh min-raised from the cutoff and earned two callers out of the blinds in Andrew Nguyen and Xiaoling Li. They headed to the A♥7♠2♣ flop on which Teoh continued for 11,000 and earned two check-folds.
