Winfred Yu raised it up to 320,000 with the K♥Q♠ in the cutoff and Paul Phua defended his button with the Q♥J♥.
That led them to the K♠Q♦9♣ flop on which Yu made top two while Phua had middle pair and a gutshot. Yu fired a bet of 500,000 and Phua made the call after careful consideration.
That brought the A♦ on the turn and Yu now checked, Phua grinned before checking it back.Yu jammed the 6♠ river and received no call.
In the first hand of heads-up play, Paul Phua limped the 8♦6♦. Winfred Yu checked with the K♥J♦ and the A♥Q♦6♣ flop gave Phua bottom pair, which he bet for 120,000. Yu called with his gutshot and that led them to the 9♦ turn. Phua checked with the additional flush draw and Yu checked it back once more
The flush arrived with the 10♦ river and after which Phua bet 700,000 and Yu called to lose a decent portion of his stack.
Chen Ming Kong jammed for 2,000,000 and Winfred Yu folded the A♣10♥ in the cutoff. Paul Phua glanced at his cards and made the call.

The K♦J♥7♦ flop and 10♠ turn paired the kicker of both players and the 7♣ river ended the tournament of Kong in third place.
Both Phua and Yu then went into an extended break ahead of their heads-up duel.
Soon after their previous clash, Chen Ming Kong is all-in against Winfred Yu and ahead preflop.

The A♥K♥J♣K♣8♦ board brought Kong back into contention and put a dent into the stack of Yu.
Winfred Yu limped first to act and Paul Phua did so in the cutoff with the Q♦10♣. Chen Ming Kong then pushed all-in from the button and Yu called all-in, while Phua folded.

The classic flip ran out 10♥9♠8♥6♠K♠ as Yu spiked the superior pair on the river.
Chen Ming Kong limped with the 10♦9♦ and Winfred Yu checked on the button with the Q♠9♠. On the 10♥9♣6♦ flop, Kong bet 200,000 for Yu to call and the J♥ turn followed. Kong now slowed down and checked, Yu jammed and took down the pot.
Soon after, a three-way limped pot emerged after which Yu folded on the K♣J♣9♣ flop when Kong bet 200,000 from under the gun with 10♣9♠. Paul Phua called on the button with the K♥8♣ and that led them to the 6♦ turn. Kong fired another bet worth 400,000 and was called by Phua.
The river paired the board with the J♦ and they checked it down this time, as Phua claimed the pot to further pull ahead.
Paul Phua limped the J♥8♦ and Chen Ming Kong checked the 10♣8♣ on the button. They checked all the way to the Q♣9♠7♥Q♥A♠ river, having missed their respective straight draws. Phua checked again and Kong bet 250,000 to win the pot.
Soon after that, Winfred Yu received a walk with an ace.
Kong jammed the A♣9♣ first to act soon after and Phua folded the A♠J♠ on the button.

Chen Ming Kong limped the A♦10♣ and Winfred Yu did so with the 9♠9♥. The Q♦8♠7♦ flop brought no action before Yu bet the J♠ turn for 200,000, earning a check-call rom Kong while Paul Phua on the button vanished. On the 8♥ river, Kong bet 600,000 and Yu folded.
With the new level about to start, the last three players agreed on a short toilet break.
Paul Phua limped from under the gun and Chen Ming Kong did so with the K♣J♣ as well. Danny Tang then shipped it in for 1,700,000 on the button only for Phua to instantly call, forcing out Kong.
