Chen Ming Kong

Paul Phua limped in the cutoff with the 109 and Chen Ming Kong checked the K8, which led them to the K107 flop. While only having second pair, Phua bet 100,000 and picked up a call by Kong.

After the 9 turn, Phua made it 300,000 to go and Kong used a time bank extension before coming along. The K on the river restored the preflop order as Kong improved to trips.

Following a check by Phua, Kong used yet another time bank and then bet 500,000. There was some apparent temptation for Phua but he eventually folded as Kong took over the lead for the first time.
