Winfred Yu limped from an early position with the A♦J♠ and Paul Phua did so from the cutoff with the 8♠8♥, Chen Ming Kong checked out of the button with the K♠J♦. The A♥Q♥8♣ flop brought a bet worth 250,000 by Yu and Phua with his bottom set used one time bank extension.

Phua then mulled it over for a bit before pushing all-in with a big smile on the face. Kong instantly folded and Yu called.

The 9♥ turn and J♥ river changed nothing as Phua improved to a flush in order to double, putting a dent into chip leader Yu's stack.

Winfred Yu limped the Q♣J♣ and Paul Phua did so with the J♦9♦ in the hijack. Chen Ming Kong in the cutoff raised to 300,000 with the A♠A♦ and table short stack Jun Wah Yap folded out of the big blind.

Yu opted to call and Phua folded.

The A♣K♦J♠ flop gave Kong the top set while Yu held bottom pair and a gutshot, as well as back door clubs. He checked and Kong riffled his larger chip denominations before moving all-in for 2,000,000, which forced a fold from Yu.

The K♠J♠8♦6♣Q♣ runout ultimately provided a broadway straight to Kong, as Yap dropped into the danger zone.

Ming Hong Teoh opted to open-shove for the 925,000 as the first player to act. It folded all the way to Danny Tang on the button, who glanced at his cards face-up while waiting for the exact count on the shove. He then called and the cards were revealed.

Teoh was left on the ropes on the A♣J♦9♦ flop, then picked up some chop outs with the Q♥ turn. However, the 9♠ river brought no help and Teoh departed in sixth place after the second hand he played on this final table.

Danny Tang was the first player to limp in with the A♣7♣ and then saw Paul Phua do so with the 9♥9♦, Chen Ming Kong followed suit with the [1010h]. Jun Wah Yap limped the A♥Q♦ in the cutoff too and chip leader Winfred Yu then jammed on the button holding the K♦K♣.

It folded back to Kong who tanked for a while and folded, as did everyone else.
