Doubles for An Lin and Cheung

RazorSharpPro • Level 18: 25,000-50,000, 5,000 ante

Two of the shorter stacks, Taiwan’s Chen An Lin and Hong Kong’s Sparrow Cheung have just doubled up. It was An Lin who doubled first, courtesy of Je Ho Lee, who moved all-in from the button with {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} to put the pressure on the Taiwanese player. It was the right move at the wrong time however, as An Lin had woken up with {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and made a quick call. The {5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} run out saw An Lin double to 1.6 million while Lee dropped to 1.6 million.

The Eugene Co put Sparrow Cheung to the test and moved all-in from the button with {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and the Hong Kong player made the call for his tournament life with {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}.

Co maintained his lead on the {4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop, but the {k-Hearts} turn brought something for everyone – a king to give Sparrow the lead and a heart to give Co a re-draw. The {5-Clubs} river saw Co miss and Cheung double to 1.7 million.
