Sean Winter

From middle position, Rainer Kempe opened to 9,000, and both Zach Hyman and Sean Winter called in the blinds.

The {Q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades} board was checked down to the river where Winter bet 11,500. Kempe called and Hyman folded.

Winter tabled his {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}, and Kempe mucked.

Nitsche Sends Lamb to the Rail

Level 8 : 2,000/4,000, 3,000 ante

Dominik Nitsche raised from the hijack and Ben Lamb re-raised to 21,000 on the button. Nitsche called and the flop came {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. The two players got all the chips in the middle on the flop and it was Lamb at risk for 84,000.

Nitsche: {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Lamb: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

The turn was the {k-Spades}, narrowing Lambs outs, and the {3-Hearts} on the river solidified his fate. Lamb was eliminated and Nitsche was the one stacking chips.

Aido called, and the dealer delivered the {10-Clubs} on the turn with Holz betting out 68,000.

Aido folded and dropped to 540,000, while Holz climbed to 350,000 in chips.

Kempe Bites into Marchese's Stack

Level 8 : 2,000/4,000, 3,000 ante

Rainer Kempe limped in from the small blind and Tom Marchese raised to 12,000 from the big blind. Kempe called and the flop came {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. Kempe checked and Marchese made a continuation bet of 16,000. Kempe called and the {j-Diamonds} peeled off on the turn.

Both players checked to the {7-Hearts} on the river and Kempe checked again for the third time. Marchese reached back for 45,000 and Kempe called him down. Kempe tabled {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and that was good enough to earn him the pot.

Katz Spikes, Then Chops

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

From the cutoff, Isaac Haxton opened to 7,000 only to have Cary Katz move all in for 36,000 from the button. Haxton called once the blinds folded, and the cards were tabled.

Haxton: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Katz: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

The flop of {10-Spades}{K-Hearts}{A-Clubs} thrust Katz into the lead, but when the turn landed the {J-Hearts}, a chop would be the inevitable outcome as the {8-Spades} completed the board on the river.
