Barry Hutter
Barry Hutter

Randall Emmett limped under the gun, as did Barry Hutter in the cutoff, and Brandon Adams on the button.

From the small blind, Justin Ligeri raised to 4,500, and Emmett, Hutter, and Adams all called.

The flop landed {10-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and action checked round to reveal the {5-Hearts} on the turn.

Ligeri bet out 7,500, Emmett folded, but both Hutter and Adams called.

The river fell the {Q-Hearts} and Ligeri checked to Hutter who tossed out a bet of 21,500. Adams and Ligeri both folded, and Hutter collected the pot.

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Two players checked to Igor Kurganov in the cutoff and he bet 4,500 on {7-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Only Erik Seidel, on the button, came along for the {5-Diamonds}. They both checked and the {j-Spades} completed the board. Kurganov checked and called fairly quickly when Seidel tossed 10,000 in.

Seidel opened {k-Spades}{q-Spades} for a rivered flush to win the pot.

Ligeri's Top Pair Holds

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,500 ante

Two players checked to Justin Ligeri on {6-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and he bet 11,000 from the button. Big blind Randall Emmett called, as did Barry Hutter in middle position. On the {q-Clubs} turn, they checked to Ligeri again. He bet 22,000 and again, both players called.

"Tough to buy this pot, huh?" he said with a laugh.

The river was an {8-Clubs} and everyone checked. Emmett showed {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for the missed nut flush draw and Hutter just mucked when Ligeri showed {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for flopped top pair.
