Kurganov Eliminated by Kempe

Level 13 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Igor Kurganov
Igor Kurganov

Igor Kurganov pushed all in for 50,000, and Rainer Kempe called from the small blind.

Kurganov: {K-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Kempe: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

The dealer spread a {K-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs} to see Kurganov flop a pair and turn kings-up, only to have Kempe find a flush on the river to eliminate Kurganov.

Adams Pays Marchese

Level 13 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Small blind Tom Marchese bet 80,000, which looked to be around half pot, on a completed board of {7-Clubs}{8-Spades}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Brandon Adams dropped in calling chips from the big blind after 20 seconds of thought, but he couldn't beat {a-}{3-}.

Imsirovic Pressures Boeree

Level 13 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Ali Imsirovic opened his button to 25,000 and Liv Boeree called in the big blind.

The flop landed {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Boeree check-called a bet of 16,000 as the turn landed the {3-Spades}.

Boeree checked, Imsirovic bet 125,000, and Boeree mucked.

Garcia Dishes Runner-Runner Beat on Haxton

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Cord Garcia
Cord Garcia

From the cutoff, Cord Garcia raised to 21,000 before Isaac Haxton three-bet the big blind to 81,000.

Garcia called, and after the dealer spread a {7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} flop, Haxton continued for 75,000.

Forced to use a time extension chip, Garcia eventually announced he was all in for 293,000. Haxton re-checked his hole cards, then announced a call.

Garcia: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Haxton: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Garcia was in bad shape holding top pair against Haxton's middle set.

Needing some combination of flush or straight cards, or runner full house outs, Garcia would see the {Q-Spades} and {7-Spades} roll off on the turn and river to improve his top pair to a full house.

As Garcia doubled into contention with the chip leaders, Haxton was left with a cruel runner-runner beat to drop down to around 21 big blinds.

Leng Doubles Through Imsirovic

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Ryan Leng raised to 40,000, leaving 26,000 back. Ali Imsirovic called on the button and they saw a {7-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop heads up. Leng stuck in the last 26,000 and Imsirovic called, although he'd whiffed with {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. He wasn't in bad shape though, as Leng had {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a draw but just queen-high.

The drama was over with the {a-Clubs} turn, and Leng collected a double.

Ace-High Win for Imsirovic

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

From the button, Daniel Negreanu raised to 18,000 and Ali Imsirovic called in the big blind.

The {6-Hearts}{J-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} board checked down and Imsirovic tabled his {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}.

Negreanu flashed a king, and then mucked.

Orsino Doubles Through Haxton

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Joseph Orsino was all in for 167,000 from under the gun when we arrived at his table, having {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} in front of him and dominating the {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} of Isaac Haxton. The board ran out {j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{8-Spades}, good for an Orsino double.
