Kempe Wins Monster Pot from Bonomo

Level 10 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Rainer Kempe
Rainer Kempe

On a final board reading ace-high, Rainer Kemp was confronted with an all-in shove from Justin Bonomo.

Kempe made the call tabling his {K-}{K-} to beat Bonomo's {K-}{Q-}.

As Kempe climbed over the 700,000-chip mark, Bonomo was left with just a few thousand.

The following hand, he was all in and found a pair on the river to double to 8,000. Then the next hand after that he was all in with {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds} against Ankush Mandavia's {Q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and doubled with ace-high.

Berg Pays Imsirovic

Level 10 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Ali Imsirovic fired in an overbet of 150,000 into about 110,000 from the cutoff on a completed board of {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. Eli Berg, who had entered the pot from under the gun, was contemplating calling off a little over half of his stack. He used a time extension then decided to call, but he couldn't beat {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} for a boat.
