Chewy Spikes the Turn

Level 17 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Andrew Lichtenberger raised from the hijack to 100,000 with J10, and was called by the big blind John Riordan with K8.

The flop was an action one, as it came QK7 to give Lichtenberger a flush draw and Riordan top pair. Riordon decided to check-called a bet of 50,000 from Lichtenberger.

Eric Blair
Eric Blair

Eric Blair from under the gun raised all in for his stack of 445,000. On his immediate left, Aaron Kupin made the call. The rest of the table then folded, and it was Blair at risk on the stone bubble.

Eric Blair: AQ All in
Aaron Kupin: 99

It was a flip, but Blair would need to improve to stay in the tournament. However, the board ran out 410K84 and the pocket nines of Kupin remained best, eliminating Kupin and bursting the bubble.
