There was around 100,000 in the pot on the J♦7♥J♥A♣ board. Chris Brewer checked from the big blind and Sam Laskowitz checked back from the button. Brewer led out for 111,000 on the 7♠ river and took down the pot.

On the next deal, Brewer limped in from the small blind and Igor Yaroshevskyy checked his option. Brewer bet 10,000 on the A♦Q♣5♥ flop and folded out his opponent.

Mateos Eliminated! Purple Jacket Rivals Have Their Chance

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

Adrian Mateos can do no more in the 2026 Poker Masters after being eliminated by Sam Laskowitz on the feature table.

The Spaniard entered the finale leading the Purple Jacket standings with 451 PGT points, but his elimination means that total is now locked in.

Mateos will have to sweat the rest of the tournament from the sidelines, with Nicholas Palma, Nicholas Seward and Jeremy Ausmus all still capable of overtaking him to claim the Purple Jacket and its $25,000 bonus.

Palma and Ausmus are both still in action on the feature table, while Laskowitz has taken the chip lead there following Mateos' departure.
