Deng Gets a Huge Bluff Through
Level 19
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Nicholas Palma A♠2♠ made it 135,000 from the button before Clemen Deng K♣Q♣ made it 380,000 from the small blind. Vitalijs Zavorotnijs Q♠Q♦ then four-bet to 850,000 from the big blind. Only Deng called.
The A♥10♠9♥ flop kept Zavorotnijs in front, while Deng had a gutshot to Broadway. Deng checked and Zavorotnijs bet 400,000 into a pot of 1,895,000. Deng called.
The A♦ turn paired the board and it checked through to the 5♦ river. Deng then bet to put Zavortnijs all in for his stack of 2,395,000. After using several time banks, Zavorotnijs found the fold, letting Deng get his bluff through.
