Clemen Deng Eliminated in 2nd Place ($144,000)
Level 22
: Blinds 75,000/125,000, 125,000 ante
Clemen Deng limped in from the button and Vitalijs Zavorotnijs checked in the big blind.
On the Q♠J♦4♠ flop, Zavorotnijs check-raised to 400,000 over a bet of 125,000. Deng called to swell the pot to 1,175,000.
Zavorotnijs bet 350,000 on the 4♣ turn and Deng called. The 8♣ river completed the board, and Zavorotnijs sized up to 2,000,000. Deng shoved for 3,890,000 and was snap-called.
It was an insane heads-up cooler, as both players had boats. Deng had J♣4♦ for fours full of jacks, while Zavorotnijs had Q♦4♥ for fours full of queens to seal his second PGT title.
