Tyler Boyer
Tyler Boyer
Level 17 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Jeremy Ausmus was firs to act and raised to 90,000 with K♦10♣ and was called by Joe McKeehen in the big blind with Q♥8♠.

The 10♥2♥9♥ flop paired both players, giving Ausmus top pair, and McKeehen second pair with a queen high flush draw. However, both players elected to check and see the 5♣ on the turn. McKeehen would check-call a bet of 75,000 and see the J♣ on the river.

After McKeehen checked, Ausmus bet for value again, betting 200,000. McKeehen thought it over, before making the call and give Ausmus the pot with his pair of tens.

Mateos then check-called bets from Oganyan for 60,000 on the 4♦5♥5♠ flop and 225,000 after the 5♦ on the turn, to see the 8♦ on the river. After Mateos checked a third time, Oganyan gave up, giving the pot to Mateos with ace high.

After the J♠J♣2♠ flop, Mateos check-raised the 55,000 bet from McKeehen to 165,000. McKeehen stuck around and made the call.

The turn was the 5♥ and Mateos slowed down and checked to McKeehen, who bet 140,000. Mateos wasted little time and mucked to give McKeehen the pot.

Jeremy Ausmus opened to 90,000 and Cherish Andrews on his left three-bet to 700,000 leaving 205,000 behind. It folded back Ausmus, and he four-bet to Andrews all in, and she quickly called to put herself at risk.

Cherish Andrews: A♠Q♣ All in
Jeremy Ausmus: 9♥9♣

It was a flip with Andrews needing to improve to stay alive, and she picked up extra counterfeit outs and straight outs on the 10♦J♥10♥ flop. But the 4♦ turn and 4♣ was no help for Andrews, and Ausmus's pocket nines remained best to score the first knockout of Day 2.

The Q♠ gave McKeehen second pair, also giving Mateos a Broadway draw. Both players elected to check and see the 3♥ on the river.

Level 16 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Cherish Andrews opened to 60,000 on the button with A♣6♣, and was called by Aram Oganyan in the big blind with 10♥9♦.

The flop came 6♥7♦4♣ and Oganyan decided to lead out for a bet of 55,000 with his gut shot straight draw, and Andrews called with second pair.

The 9♠ on the turn put Oganyan into the lead with top pair, and he bet again for 180,000. Andrews took some time before making the call.

Once the J♥ completed the board, Oganyan bet for a third time, this time sizing down to 65,000. Andrews got curious and made the call, and once Oganyan tabled his hand Andrews quickly mucked to give him the pot.
