Laskowitz Has a Tough Time
Level 13
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Chino Rheem opened to 35,000 from the button before Sam Laskowitz jammed as the big stack from the small blind.
"I think i'm supposed to call this here," commented Rheem as he thought over what do with his stack of 490,000. He decided to risk his tournament life.
Chino Rheem: 7♣7♥
Sam Laskowitz: A♣Q♠
Rheem faded the overcards, and doubled up after the J♦5♦5♠K♣9♥ runout.
Two hands later, Laskowitz put in his last 80,000 from the cutoff. Sam Soverel reshoved from the small blind and Nicholas Seward called off his stack of 190,000 in the big blind.
Sam Laskowitz: 2♥2♠
Nicholas Seward: A♣K♣
Sam Soverel: J♥J♦
Soverel's jacks were ahead after the Q♠6♠5♦ flop but Seward took the lead on the A♥ turn and took the entire pot after the 5♥ river.
