Daniel Negreanu called PokerNews to the table as he played a pot from the button against Nicholas Palma in the small blind.
Palma checked on the flop of 10♥2♥2♣ and Negreanu bet 25,000. Palma called. Both players then checked on the 3♦ turn.
Palma checked again on the Q♠ river and Negreanu took a sip of red wine before engaging in some table talk.
"Ten good? I have ace-ten of spades and think it's good. So I'm going to bet 40,000."
Palma called the bet and Negreanu burst into laughter as he turned over Q♥J♥ for a queen.
"I lied!" he cheered after getting called.
Cary Katz raised to 10,000 from the hijack and Dan Smith three-bet jammed for 105,500 from the cutoff. Katz called.
Dan Smith: Q♥9♥
Cary Katz: 10♠10♥
The flop landed 4♣9♣K♥ to give Smith a nine and the board finished out 2♦9♠ to give Smith trips for a double.
Jeremy Ausmus was all in against Nicholas Palma to his right.
Jeremy Ausmus: 3♥3♦
Nicholas Palma: Q♥Q♠
Ausmus couldn't hit a three as the board ran out A♣7♦6♥9♣10♥ to mark Ausmus' elimination.
At the same table, Daniel Negreanu is onto glass two of his novelty-sized red wine.
"Now that I'm getting older, 5 p.m. has become drinking time," Negreanu said, adding that he is usually in bed by 9 p.m.
Sean Perry raised to 25,000 in the small blind and Adrian Mateos called in the big blind.
The flop of 7♣J♣7♥ checked through and Perry bet 40,000 on the Q♠ turn. Mateos called.
Perry then checked on the J♥ river and Mateos bet 90,000. Perry snap-called and showed A♠Q♣ for a pair of queens to beat out the missed straight draw of Mateos with 10♣9♦.

Sean Winter raised to 8,500 from under the gun and Sean Perry three-bet to 25,000 from the next seat.
Igor Yaroshevskyy then moved all in from the small blind for 29,000, leading Winter to re-jam with a stack of around 300,000. Perry had Winter covered and folded.
Igor Yaroshevskyy: 8♦8♣
Sean Perry: A♣K♠
Yaroshevskyy's eights held for a near triple as the board ran out 6♦4♠5♣J♥7♠. Meanwhile, a groaning Perry had some words for Winter after his massive jam.
"Why did you price me out?" Perry asked before telling Winter "you're scared to play postflop."
"I didn't have anything," Winter replied.
