Some Perspective on Tice's Age
Level 10
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Landon Tice opened to 24,000 in the hijack and was called by Shannon Shorr on the button and John Krpan in the big blind.
Action checked to Shorr on the flop of K♥2♥6♣ and he bet 23,000 to bring folds from both opponents.
Right before the hand, Shorr asked 26-year-old Tice how it felt to be the youngest player left in the tournament. This led to some nostalgic reflection from the older players at the table.
"I graduated high school in 2000," said Filipp Khavin.
"I had been married for five years in 2000," added Arthur Peacock.
