Rossitto Almost Walks Away from Winning Hand
Level 11
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Michael Rossitto almost made a fatal error after tabling his hand in an all-in situation.
Rossitto got his final chips in on the river on a board of 6♣A♥6♦6♥3♥ as he tabled 5♥5♦ for sixes full of fives. Rossitto thought he heard his opponent say he had king six and, thinking he was beat by quads, walked away from the table. Players stopped him and called him back just as the dealer was about to pull his hand to the muck.
"I was wondering why you were getting up," said Chino Rheem.
"I thought he was going to get beef jerky," added Anthony Zinno.
