Wilson Puts a Brutal Beat on Hendrix
Level 14
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Adam Hendrix opened to 45,000 from the button, Brock Wilson three-bet to 150,000 from the big blind, and Hendrix called.
The flop came 8♣7♠J♥. Wilson bet 200,000, leaving 170,000 behind. Hendrix shoved with a covering stack and Wilson used one time extension before calling off for his tournament life two spots away from the money.
Brock Wilson: Q♦Q♠
Adam Hendrix: 10♥9♥
Hendrix was a massive favorite with the nut-straight against Wilson's overpair. Wilson had outs after improving to a set on the Q♣ turn, and the J♣ river brought in a miraculous full house, securing him a huge double through Hendrix.
