Ben Delaney Falls Behind Against Adgee

Andrew Jeffreys is ahead 1-0
Andrew Jeffreys is ahead 1-0
Andrew "Adgee" Jeffreys has taken a 1-0 advantage against Ben Delaney in their quarter-final match.

The pair played a couple of big hands before Delaney went behind. In the first Delaney opened to 300, with Adgee making the preflop call.

The flop of {3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} saw Adgee check-raise to 1,000 over Delaney's 500 chip bet. Delaney called and they took the {10-Clubs} turn.

Adgee fired out 1,000 on the turn and Delaney flatted. They both checked off the {7-Diamonds} river with Adgee turning over {8-Spades}{j-Hearts} good to scoop the pot after Delaney mucked.

A short time later Delaney opened to 200, with Adgee flat calling. They took a {3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop that had Delaney lead 225. Adgee made it 1,000 to go and Delaney moved all in. Adgee made the call tabling {7-Hearts}{4-Spades} to be in front of Delaney's {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}. Delaney didn't improve through the {q-Spades} turn and {k-Clubs} river.
