The third starting day of the €250 buy-in PokerNews Cup Main Event at the King's Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic is scheduled to get underway in half an hour from now at 14:00 local time. In yesterday's first flight, 174 entries were generated with 36 survivors making it through to Day 2. Germany's Jens Dengler finished as the Day 1B chip leader mounting a huge 412,000 chip stack - which is good enough for second overall through the first two flights.

Two Lithuanian players hold two of the other top three spots thanks to their great performance in Day 1A on Thursday. Rytas Staniukynas is currently sitting on top of the field with 446,000 chips, while fellow countryman Tomas Steponkus currently resides in third place with 339,500 chips.

We already have close to 100 players registered for Day 1C to compete for a share of the at least €200,000 prize pool, and it is expected to be the biggest of the four opening flights with the long line we just witnessed for those waiting to join in on the action. The fourth and final opening flight takes place in a turbo format later in the day at 21:00 CET.

Also on the schedule today is a €40 buy-in Turbo Satellite awarding at least five guaranteed seats that began at 11:00 CET. Later in the day there are a couple of more lower buy-in side events with the €60 buy-in King's Hold'em Championship featuring a €12,000 Euro guarantee kicking off at 17:00 CET and the late-night €100 buy-in PokerNews King's Deepstack Late Night Turbo starting at 23:00 CET.

Players will be able to re-enter today one time if they bust out. Additionally, players that busted during the first two opening flights can enter up to two times today. King's Casino will also allow players that finished yesterday with a short-stack to forfeit their chips and start fresh on any of the two remaining opening days if they so choose.
