Dirty Harry pays off Antonio Quarta

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Antonio Quarta's stack had taken a big hit, but the Italian rebounded and was back up to more than 100,000 already. This has just changed for the better when three players headed to the {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds} turn. The big blind and Dirty Harry in the cutoff checked. Quarta bet 10,000 on the button and just Dirty Harry called.

After the {A-Spades} river, Dirty Harry checked and Quarta bet 20,000. Dirty Harry grabbed the chips for the call quickly, then leaned back and took a sip of his drink. After another one minute of consideration, he called and the Italian rolled over the winning {A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for two pair.

Not Much Happening

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

The action at the tables has slowed down and the screens show 112 out of 186 entries remaining. The registration and reentry period remains open for less than an hour still and Pavel Novotny won't be back at the tables after busting on his second bullet. The two other players gaining chips at his previous table are Hollywood and Ondrej Vlasanek, who are just below four times the starting stack.

Roller Coaster Run Out Lets Dirty Harry Double

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Dirty Harry three-bet all in and Vadzim Lipauka looked him up to create a coin flip:

Dirty Harry: {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Lipauka: {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}

While the {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop kept the short stack in the lead, the {A-Spades} turn improved Lipauka. However, the {3-Hearts} river restored the hope of Dirty Harry and he doubled up for his last 12,700. "That's poker," he said to table neighbor Antonio Quarta and Lipauka just nodded.

As one of a quite a few players, Patrick Wolff invested two bullets on Day 1b. However, the second attempt was not crowned with success either, as he just walked out of the tournament room. "I had {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and the flop was eight high with two clubs. Could not get out anymore, and the guy called me with {A-}{K-}. But no worries, I will be bacl tomorrow," he added on his way out.

Petr Hedjanek Triples Up; Irakli Jangjava Doubles

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Roman Moťovský raised to 3,000 and the player in the small blind called before Petr Hejdánek in the big blind moved all in for his last 10,600 and both opponents called. On the {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop, the small blind isolated with a bet and Moťovský folded.

Hejdánek: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Small blind: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}

Neither the {5-Hearts} turn nor the {5-Spades} river changed anything and Hejdánek tripled up.

Shortly after, at the same table, Irakli Jangjava three-bet all in for 29,200 and the initial raiser called with the very same hand in {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}. Jangjava had {7-Clubs}{7-Spades} and won the flip thanks to a board of {Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}.

Alain Riss Raises Aggression

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

On the table of big stack Michel Kruijt, who was sitting in the big blind, Haffi opened the action with a raise to 3,200. From one seat over, Alain Riss three-bet to 9,000 and the action folded back to Haffi. He called and checked the flop of {K-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts}. Riss continued for 7,500 and was called.

On the {5-Spades} turn, Haffi checked for the second time in a row. Riss moved all in or around 20,000 and that forced a fold from Haffi. Riss first flashed to his table neighbor only and then showed the rest of the table his {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} as well.

Izzitreallyd can Smile Again

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Arriving on the three-way flop of {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, a bet of 8,000 was in front of Konstantin Kostyakov. Izzitreallyd in the small blind then check-raised all in while a third player in the hand was already all in. Kostyakov then folded and Izzitreallyd showed {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for second pair.

The player at risk had {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}, but Izzitreallyd made a runner runner full with the {J-Spades} turn and {10-Hearts} river to eliminate the opponent and boost his stack.
