Riczak Picks Off a Bluff

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

On a {9-Spades}{2-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} board Michal Riczak checked to his opponent JC Strider who slid a bet of 80,000 into a pot of 47,000. Riczak called immediately for his last 57,300.

JC Strider turned over {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Riczak craned his neck; looking first at the baord and then at his opponent's cards before turning over {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and taking down the pot.

Magic Man Eliminated by Paul Van Alst

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Magic Man 558
Magic Man 558

Paul van Alst raised and Magic Man moved all in for around 10,000. Van Alst called.

Magic Man 558: {10-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
van Alst: {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Magic Man 558 had gotten to his feet, but tablemate Roman Cieslik reassured him, encouraging him to sit down. He pointed out the {q-Hearts} in the window of the flop, but the whole flop was bad news for Magic Man coming {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{q-Hearts} giving his opponent a flush.

However, Magic Man still held the {10-Hearts} and could turn or river a better flush. Sadly for him the turn {9-Spades} and river {a-Spades} were no help for him and he was eliminated.

Minerva Will Re-Enter

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The last few chips of Sascha Minerva disappeared and he headed out of the tournament area before the level came to an end. "I can still re-enter," the German said and will be back shortly.

Among those that busted 1c and entered 1d were also Tezer Cetindag and Elena Litvinyuk, who are both on track to make Day 2.

Bellance with the Boom

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

"Boom, i got it", Jean Bellance screamed loudly and some players went to check on his table. Bellance had gotten his stack in with {A-Spades}{K-Spades} and Barry Neuvel looked him up with {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}. The board came {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{J-Spades}{4-Clubs} and the aces were cracked.

Cieslik Chops Three-Ways

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Roman Cieslik raised and picked up two all ins right behind in Marian Vacha and Zurab Ejibia. Both had around 13,000 and Cieslik with the far bigger stack called when the action folded back to him.

Marian Vacha: {A-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Zurab Ejibia: {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Roman Cieslik: {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

The flop of {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} brought two pair for Cieslik while Vacha improved to a straight on the {6-Hearts} turn. Ejibia could all but chop it with a straight on the board, and that's exactly what happened as the {8-Spades} appeared on the river.

SantaClaus Busts One

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

On a heads-up flop of {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, the stacks of SantaClaus and his table neighbor went into the middle of the table and the German showed {K-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for top two. The player at risk held {J-Spades}{9-Spades} for the up and down straight draw, but the {A-Hearts} turn and {9-Hearts} river were both blanks.
