Emin Aghayev Eliminated

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Emin Aghayev got it in with {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} on a flop of {K-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} up against the {8-Spades}{9-Spades} of Scott Wellenbach. The {2-Spades} on the turn was inconsequential but the {10-Diamonds} on the river made Wellenbach a straight and meant the end of it for Aghayev.

Lampropulos Busts; Wanzi Among Big Stacks

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Maria Lampropulos shoved with pocket kings out of the small blind and was called by Anthony Chimkovitch in the big blind with {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}. The board came {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Lampropulos was sent to the rail.

Nadia Wanzui however has joined the big stacks. In a recent hand she moved all in for more than 500,000 against a bet of 55,000 by Tibor Nagygyorgy on the {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop. The Hungarian had 190,000 behind and was in the think tank, the clock was called and he mucked with 20 seconds remaining.

Huber Eliminated

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Stefan Huber, who's stack we didn't count but didn't have a lot of chips, got it in before the flop holding {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} up against the {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} of his neighbor Hugo Gomes Andrade.

The flop did nothing for either player with {K-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds} but the {A-Spades} on the river helped Huber in the lead. The {8-Diamonds} on the river, however, flipped things around and Huber said his goodbyes.

Cerveny and El Yousfi Eliminated

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Ladislav Cerveny was all in for just a few big blinds and tabled {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}, while Ramon Miquel Munoz had the {A-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. The kicker problem would end up fortunate for the Spaniard, as the board came {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} to give Munoz a flush.

Said El Yousfi has also been eliminated. For more than 130,000 he got it in with the {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and Anatoly Chen looked him up out of the blinds with {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. The boaerd came {J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and that was it for the Swiss Moroccan.

Martin Toth: {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

Sammartino on the Rail

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Dario Sammartino has been eliminated. According to the Italian, he shoved a heads-up turn of {J-}{9-}{7-}{6-} for 150,000 with {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} for the flush draw and gutshot, and his opponent called with pocket sevens for the set. Instead of a diamond or ten, the river was the {K-Spades} and Sammartino was done. Other notables joined him in the post bubble bust bonanza.
